A 41.5 cm long wooden velociraptor that really walks: a spring you wind with a T-key, four levels of exposed gears, and two legs that mimic the predator's bounding stride. 189 pieces, no glue, with a stand shaped like a cracked egg.
A 3D wooden dinosaur puzzle that walks
The mechanism is fully visible: the T-key tightens a spring, a brake holds the energy, and when you release it, the gears and a connecting rod pass the motion to the legs. Textured pads give the feet grip for a steady walk. Once assembled, the raptor rests on its egg-shaped stand.
