The New Port Sailboat isn't a snap-together puzzle: it's a traditional ship model kit. A plank-on-frame hull planked board by board, canvas sails, metal fittings. A patient project that ends with a 41 cm sailboat, painted and varnished the way you like.
An old-school wooden model ship kit, plank by plank
The build follows the shipyard method: the keel and frames first, then the planking laid board by board, before the masts go up and the rigging is run. The sails are canvas, the fittings metal. You paint and varnish it yourself: every New Port is one of a kind.
