The Harvey is a schooner: two raked masts, a long bowsprit and a slender black hull trimmed with a white stripe. The sails are canvas, and the shrouds and rope ladders are strung with thread. Once finished, it measures 38 cm long on its wooden base.

The hull is built just like in a real shipyard, only smaller: the frames on the keel, then the planks that cover the hull. The deck gets its hatches, skylights and rudder. Then come the two masts and the bowsprit, followed by what gives this model all its charm: the rigging, thread by thread, tensioned by hand.

Le produit est arrivé dans une boîte en carton. Tout à l'intérieur est intact. Il y a une notice de montage en couleur. Les images ne sont pas très claires, mais il est possible de comprendre quoi connecter à quoi. Pistolets en laiton, ancres en métal, voiles en tissu. Les pièces du corps sont découpées au laser à partir de contreplaqué fin, revêtement en placage.
