One of our largest miniature house kits

Two stories, a stone garden, a terrace and two separate lighting circuits: it's one of the most ambitious projects in the catalog, the one you spread over a weekend or several evenings. Advanced level, not because the techniques are hard (they're the same as on a beginner kit) but because there are 478 pieces and it takes patience. The reward: a house that lights up room by room.

Who is it for? Anyone looking for an impressive centerpiece that goes beyond the book nook format. Lovers of Japan and detailed everyday scenes. An exceptional gift.

Your questions about The Cherry Blossom Parlor miniature house

Your questions about this kit

How long does it take to build?
Plan on several sessions over a weekend: it's one of our largest kits, with lots of detail.

Advanced level: do I need to have built kits before?
Not necessarily. The techniques are the same as on a beginner kit. What puts The Cherry Blossom Parlor in the advanced category is its 478 pieces and the time it takes: a weekend rather than an evening. It's a matter of patience, not technique.

How The Cherry Blossom Parlor miniature house compares to our other kits

Rated Advanced like its companion in the series, The Cherry Blossom Parlor is the more detailed of the two: 478 pieces versus 258 for The Cherry Blossom House, for the same weekend of building. It shares those 478 pieces with another kit in the catalog, which builds in 5 to 8 hours at Intermediate level. Same number of pieces, then, but spread here over two days, with two separate lighting circuits for the interior and the garden. The shorter take on that total is The Kyoto Bazaar.

A world to build. A light to switch on.

This model is part of our miniature house kits and our Japanese model kits. In the same collection, discover The Cherry Blossom House next, the family home under the sakura trees. It's also one of our multi-story wooden model houses and, thanks to its level, part of our selection of model kits to build.
