A night in a private detective's office, sometime in the '40s: an amber chandelier, stacks of case files, an evidence board, a leather armchair that still holds someone's shape. Detective's Office brings this scene to your bookshelf: a miniature book nook you build yourself, glowing with a warm light when night falls.
A whole room recreated in miniature
No facade here: you step right into the room. The evidence board, the files, the armchair and the chandelier go in one by one, and that's what makes the 115 pieces take longer than the count suggests: four to six hours, intermediate level. Once the LED is on, the scene looks like a film noir shot frozen on pause.

Ce kit est vraiment amusant – c'était agréable et relaxant de tout assembler. Les instructions étaient claires et faciles à suivre. Il contenait tout le nécessaire, et même des pièces de rechange pour les plus petits éléments que vous pourriez probablement perdre si vous n'y faites pas attention. J'ai pris quelques libertés avec le produit fini en suivant mes propres goûts, et c'est bien qu'on ait cette possibilité. Le kit est livré avec un système d'éclairage fonctionnel, mais j'étais trop intimidé pour m'y attaquer, alors je n'ai tout simplement pas installé les lumières. Très content de mon achat !
J'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité et le souci du détail de ce coin lecture. Pour être honnête, je ne m’attendais pas à grand-chose mais j’ai passé des journées à m’amuser avec. Vous aurez besoin de colle, d'une pince à épiler et d'une planche à découper (ou de ciseaux bien aiguisés). Cependant, tout le reste est là dans le petit paquet. J'ai adoré construire ça et j'espère que vous aussi.

Cet article est arrivé très rapidement et bien emballé. Je ne pouvais pas croire que c’était vraiment d’aussi bonne qualité et d’un bon rapport qualité-prix. Je l'achèterais certainement à nouveau et je recommande ce produit à 100 pour cent. Impatient de l'utiliser !
Je l'ai acheté plus par curiosité de voir comment il était fabriqué, et je dois dire que je suis très agréablement surpris ! C'est vraiment magnifiquement détaillé, avec beaucoup de pièces, et le design est bien pensé. MAIS! Je dois écrire un avertissement ici : ne l'achetez pas à moins que vous ne soyez un modéliste vraiment compétent. Ce n’est pas un kit que vous pouvez construire en un après-midi. Une pile de matériaux tombera de la boîte et vous devrez littéralement fabriquer tout ce que vous voyez sur la photo. Des maisons à une assiette de fruits d'un millimètre derrière les fenêtres. Si vous avez des mains sûres, des pinces et de l'expérience avec les miniatures, vous vous amuserez beaucoup et obtiendrez une jolie décoration pour votre bibliothèque. Sinon, vous passerez par l'enfer :-D Mais je suis satisfait.
