This one doesn't go unnoticed: 39 cm long, 34 cm tall, three masts rigged with white fabric sails and a base carved in the shape of waves. On deck, a ship's wheel, openwork railings and an anchor; at the bow, an engraved rosette. The light plywood parts slot together.
A large wooden model ship kit with fabric sails
You start with the hull, whose frames slot together before being covered with long planks. Then the deck, the railings, the ship's wheel and the anchor, and finally the three masts. The white fabric sails, stretched across their yards, give the boat the look of a real sailing ship. Last of all, it settles onto its carved wave base.
