Press the key, and the telegraph really sends its signal.
A gold Morse telegraph, with its spring-loaded key, red lamp and gear wheel. And it works: every press of the key sends out a beep and a flash of light. 60 pieces, a one-hour build, no glue.
A mechanical model kit that sends messages in Morse code
When you press the key, the gears pass on the movement and trigger the signal: a beep and a flash. Enough to learn the Morse alphabet and send each other coded messages. The 60 pieces snap together in about an hour: it's the quickest machine in the series, and a great way in.
Who is it for? For a first mechanical kit, short and rewarding. For a fan of the history of communications, or to swap secret messages with a teen.
Dimensions once built: 6.4 × 7 cm footprint, 11 cm tall.

Yes: every press of the key produces a beep and a flash of light.
Is it a good kit to start with?
Yes: 60 pieces and a one-hour build—it's the shortest in the series.
Is it made of wood?
