A cabinet of curiosities that glows blue
Four hundred seventeen pieces, five to eight hours. It's one of the most detailed kits in the catalog, and its lighting plays on two tones: cool blue upstairs, amber on the ground floor. That blue is what gives the jars their glowing effect. The tree-trunk facade goes together first, then you fill the inside pigeonhole by pigeonhole: that's where the hours go.

How long does it take to build?
Five to eight hours with its 417 pieces. It's a kit for several evenings.
Is the lighting really blue?
Upstairs, yes: it's the kit's signature, the light leans toward a cool blue, which gives the jars their glowing effect. The ground floor stays lit with warm light.
Is it suitable for a beginner?
It's doable, but it's not the best place to start. Fireside Corner or Glade Hideaway are better suited to a first kit.
